Hello, and welcome to Fashion and Film Fusion!

My name is Emma, and I'm currently studying in my second year for a degree in Film Studies at the University of Southampton, England.

As this is my first post, I should probably provide you with an introduction :) What you're currently viewing is a blog about fashion in film and film in fashion- the ways in which the two connect and have connected over the years.

With this blog, I will publish all my favourite fashion findings from films I have watched, all the way from the first films screened on December 28th 1895 by the Lumiere Brothers until the present day. This blog is for everyone to indulge in- you might find this intriguing if you are just interested in fashion and not particularly film, and vice versa. I'll also be giving tips as to which highstreet shops/websites you can get the looks from!

I'm not yet sure about how often I will update, but so far it looks as if it will be every time I discover something (and trust me, with my unhealthy obsession with these two matters, it will be very often indeed).
